What card do I need?
Any NFC card or sticker with a fixed ID. NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 stickers work well and are cheap. Most key fobs and transit cards work too. Phones, watches and many bank cards change their ID on every scan, so they can't be paired.
How do I unlock?
Open NFC Lock, tap Unlock with card, solve the addition problem, then hold your card near the top of your iPhone. Everything stays unlocked for the time you set, then locks again on its own.
I lost my card
Go to Settings, Screen Time, Apps with Screen Time Access, and turn off NFC Lock. That removes every block. Turn it back on, open NFC Lock and pair a new card.
Why can't I delete or install apps?
While locked, NFC Lock stops apps from being deleted or installed, so a blocked app can't be removed and reinstalled to get around it. Unlock with your card to add or remove apps.
Why can't I change my block list?
The block list, unlock length and card can only be changed while unlocked.
